I checked out Having Four in the Old First Ward and Live from Brazen Brewing with Drew & Justin—and let me tell you, I’m officially hooked.
In the Old First Ward episode, I felt like I was tagging along on a casual night out with great friends. The storytelling, the brewery stops, the local flavor—it was like a love letter to Buffalo, one pint at a time.
Then the Brazen Brewing episode took it up another notch. Drew and Justin brought the behind-the-scenes magic while the host kept the vibe flowing like a fresh pour from the tap. It was the perfect mix of banter, beer, and behind-the-scenes insight.
This podcast nails the balance between entertaining and informative, and the passion for the craft beer scene in Buffalo is contagious. Whether you're local or just a beer-loving wanderer, Buffalo Brews is well worth a listen. Cheers to this one!

Let me start by saying that I am definitely not the target audience for this podcast. I don’t drink, and when I did I was never a fan of beer.
That said, this podcast is very well done with great audio, insightful facts, interesting history, and a feel good flow.
This was an experience to listen to, one that I definitely enjoyed more than a cold brew 😉

Loved the review on Scottish ales. I didn’t realize the difference between scotch ale and Scottish ale. Also really cool to learn how the Scottish beers evolved so they wouldn’t be dependent on English hops.

Stumbled across this podcast and loved it Immediately. Great hosts and a fun discussion of a particular beer and other things. I’m not even from the Buffalo area but the hosts are so fun to hang out with it doesn’t matter. They would be great to have a beer with and maybe play some beer trivia.

Such a great concept and delivery for illustrating the best of a city. If someone has been considering starting a podcast for their location, this is a great structure to mimic.

This is a great podcast for those into the subject matter. It’s not really what I usually listen to but it does seem like a very well produced show. It reminds me of a radio show my husband would listen to for a local sports team, although this podcast has better sound quality. The host engages with the guests in a fun and relatable way and overall it’s easy to listen to.

Totally a craft beer guy, so glad I found this (would be nice if they were closer, so I could try easier). Very interesting takes on brews. Most benefit comes from the tips and tricks you get, and their overall discussion of brew categories and comparing it to other brews in the same category or other categories. A bit long, but definitely a ton of nuggets in here. If you’re a beer guy, this is for you. Cheers

From beer to the trails, Jason is an incredible ambassador for Western NY. The podcast exposes you to everything Buffalo and the region has to offer. And he talks about great beer and breweries in the area. I especially like all the talk about the outdoors and WNY Hiking Challenge, I may be a little biased on that last point. Either way, it is fun, informative, professionally produced, worth more that 5-stars and a sub!
